Crofton Gold Project

A New High-Grade Asset in the Pilbara

The Crofton Gold Project is a highly prospective 57 km² exploration licence in the mineral-rich Pilbara region of Western Australia. Recently added to Cloudbreak's portfolio, Crofton is distinguished by exceptional surface samples, with historic rock chips returning bonanza-grade results of up to 253 g/t gold and 215 g/t silver.

The project benefits from a history of high-grade production and presents multiple, kilometre-scale gold trends identified through previous soil sampling. With visible gold commonly observed at surface, Crofton offers a pipeline of high-priority drill targets and represents a compelling opportunity for a significant new discovery.

Geology Points to Major System Potential

The project area exhibits all the key hallmarks of a significant epithermal gold system, with multiple parallel quartz veins and extensive hydrothermal alteration observed across the 57km² license area, suggesting a much larger mineralized system than the historic workings indicate.

Recent analysis of the structural controls indicates the potential for a major shear zone running through the property, which could host multiple high-grade shoots similar to other multi-million ounce deposits in the Pilbara region.

The combination of bonanza-grade surface samples, extensive soil anomalies, and the project's position within a proven gold-endowed craton presents a compelling opportunity for a tier-one discovery in a region that has seen limited modern exploration techniques applied.

Tom Evans, Cloudbreak's Managing Director, commented:

"This is an incredibly exciting gold project... The delineation of multiple trends with strike lengths of over a kilometre on the tenement give the Company a vast number of high priority exploration targets. We are making plans to have geologists on-site as soon as practicable."

The Company's initial work programme will include a detailed site visit, geological mapping, and the definition of drill targets to systematically test the highest-priority areas of this highly prospective land package.
